Community Bible Study

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

We have "in person" groups for our local women and children starting on September 7, 2023. For those who are unable to attend an in person class, CBS does offer online groups that you can attend from anywhere in the country. You can research these online classes at communityBiblestudy.org.

For our study, starting September 5, 2024, we will be studying the book of Matthew

Matthew Introduction:

Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus’s life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew’s message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!
